A Girl and an Orange Suit Had her first Dance Lesson in 30 years

To say I was excited to start dancing again, was an understatement this week.

I have started my dance lessons for Stars Of Newcastle, where I am raising money for Cancer Council NSW and dancing with 9 other fabulous people on the stage at Civic Theatre in September. I remember dancing on this stage when I was 7 years old!!

I thought I would be fine with my lesson, because I used to dance when I was younger…but let me tell you…my body was not coordinated…and my brain could not keep up with the routine!!…but I had so much fun!! I was beaming all day, ready to take on the world because I had started to do something I love!!

I am so excited to raise much needed funds for Cancer Council NSW, so if you are in Newcastle NSW, look out for my Fundraising Events in July and August.

Bring on my next class next week (I have brought proper Jazz shoes)…and hopefully this old girl can “bust some disco moves”!!
